Rounds, guesses and the ETH total come from the game’s own archive; burned and staked are read onchain, and the pot is the round in play. All of it refreshes every few minutes. The player count is a July 2026 figure and does not move. Launched 1 January 2026 at mini-app rank #34; two days later it was #1.

What it does

One word, everyone: Every player hunts the same word. Wrong guesses spin onto a shared elimination wheel, so the field narrows for the whole lobby at once.
$WORD jackpots: 80% to the winner, 10% split across the ten earliest guessers, paid out atomically onchain; the remainder seeds the next round rather than leaving the game. Rounds 1 to 33 paid in ETH. From round 34 the prize is $WORD, seeded from the treasury at a fixed dollar value priced by an onchain oracle when the round opens, so a round no longer waits on anyone to fund it.
An entry floor, not a fee: Playing takes about $3 of $WORD, held or staked rather than spent, and honoured for as long as it is held whatever the price does afterwards. It is aimed at the bot farms that took rounds 28 to 33; the 4,432 players whose first guess landed in rounds 1 to 27 are exempt for good.
$WORD economy: Hold more for more daily guesses, stake for yield boosted by XP tier, and hunt the hidden bonus and burn words seeded into every round.

How it works

A round opens with the answer committed onchain on Base as a SHA-256 hash of a salt and the word, so the house can’t change it mid-round; the ten bonus and five burn words are committed separately as keccak256 hashes. Anyone can check either against the reveal at /verify.
Guesses are graded server-side and wrong answers are published to the shared board, turning every player’s miss into everyone else’s information.
Daily guesses stack rather than replace: one free, up to three more from $WORD holdings, one for sharing, and up to nine paid (fourteen at the ceiling). Packs and Superguess are still bought with ETH, and 80% of what they cost is spent buying $WORD straight into the prize pool.
The first correct guess triggers the onchain payout, and the next round opens by itself a few hours later. Bonus words hand out $1.50 of $WORD at the oracle price; burn words destroy 5M and earn the finder an Arsonist wordmark.
