A massively multiplayer word hunt on Farcaster and Base. Everyone chases the same secret five-letter word, wrong guesses are eliminated for the whole board, and the first player to land it takes the ETH jackpot.
What it does
One word, everyone
Every player hunts the same word. Wrong guesses spin onto a shared elimination wheel, so the field narrows for the whole lobby at once.
ETH jackpots
80% to the winner, 10% split across the ten earliest guessers, paid out atomically onchain. Thirteen rounds in, roughly 1 ETH had been distributed across 25,470 guesses.
$WORD economy
Hold for bonus guesses, stake for yield boosted by XP tier, and hunt the hidden bonus and burn words seeded into every round.
How it works
- A round opens with the answer committed onchain on Base as a keccak256 hash, so the house can’t change it mid-round — anyone can check the reveal against the commitment at /verify.
- Guesses are graded server-side and wrong answers are published to the shared board, turning every player’s miss into everyone else’s information.
- Daily guesses stack rather than replace: one free, up to three from $WORD holdings, one for sharing, and up to nine paid — fourteen at the ceiling.
- The first correct guess triggers the onchain payout. Bonus words hand out 5M $WORD; burn words destroy 5M and earn the finder an Arsonist wordmark.
